Senator Coghill, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered on page 1910. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT 2014-03-26 Senate Journal Page 2165 RESOLUTION NO. 2(JUD) Urging the United States Congress to act on the request of the governor to acquire for the state additional land in the Tongass National Forest from the United States government by purchase or negotiation or by seeking amendment to the Alaska Statehood Act, was adopted and was before the Senate on final passage. Senators Egan, Coghill, McGuire, Bishop, Giessel, Meyer, Stevens, Micciche, Kelly moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 2(JUD) Urging the United States Congress to act on the request of the governor to acquire for the state additional land in the Tongass National Forest from the United States government by purchase or negotiation or by seeking amendment to the Alaska Statehood Act, pass the Senate?"
